If you had to select a signature recording for each of these 4 musical artists of the 20th century, all of whom made a significant dent in cinema as well as music, what would it be?
Thanks!

Hate Sinatra I enjoyed Presley as a kid, but to me one song is equal to any song Couldn't care less about Dolly's songs While My Guitar Gently Weeps

Sinatra: Has to be 'My Way'
Elvis: Considering he is the King of Rock'n'Roll, he as actually known for a lot of power ballads. But I will still say "Jailhouse Rock" is his signature.
Dolly: Her most famous song is "I Will Always Love You," but sadly her version is somewhat overshadowed by Whitney Houston's cover. So I will say "Jolene" is her signature.
Beatles: Very tough, they have such an even spread, and a lot of career phases. In terms of "signature" I gotta go with their first big hit "She Loves You,"

Dolly: Her most famous song is "I Will Always Love You," but sadly her version is somewhat overshadowed by Whitney Houston's cover. I'd personally go the opposite view on this. I despised Houston's vocal gymnastics and found that Dolly's version was more about the song than the singer. Vice versa with Houston's. Each to their own though.

I agree with you that Parton's version has more heart and truth and is overall the better song, and I much prefer it. But there is no denying Houston's version is more well known and what comes to mind to most people when that song title is uttered. Therefore its hard to call it Dolly's signature.

I'll be honest...I missed the "signature" aspect and just chose my favourites
