I wasn't aware that Tough Guys got a DVD/blu-ray release back in May 2017, so when I found that out last month I promptly ordered my blu-ray. Just watched it tonight.
This is a highly entertaining and fun movie, and it's a pleasure to watch such two class acts as Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster together in tailor-made roles. Eli Wallach is also a delight and is often hilarious.
While Tough Guys scores highly as a comedy, it also serves as a social commentary on the treatment of elderly people; watching Kirk and Burt dish it out to rude and apathetic young folks is very satisfying.
Aside from the standard theatrical trailer, the only other bonus on the blu-ray is an audio commentary by director Jeff Kanew.
And like the theme song says, they just don't make 'em like they used to!

Kirk Douglas is 102 next month. Damn, I said Michael instead of Kirk! I'm getting old myself. Anyway, it's corrected now.
