I really don't understand Americans' religious-like devotion to supporting and voting in two-party systems. Everyone hates Congress, yet they all vote and vote and vote to keep the status quo and the same problems churning. Exactly and that is exactly why I have quit voting. Republicrats. Democans. I see it as a one party system and would vote for a 2nd party if I thought they had a snowball's chance in hell of winning. I know they won't so why bother? The system is too corrupt and powerful for me to want to take part in it and even think for a second my vote will make any kind of a difference when I see that it won't. If they want my vote then they will have to change it to a system that is more fair for everyone than just the corrupt rich and powerful. And that's exactly what they want. The major parties are more than happy with you not voting if you don't like their candidate. That way they only have to appeal to extremists with the most basic of ideologies within their own parties to win and continue the cycle you're complaining about here. Vote for a third party candidate, start a write-in campaign if you have to. But you still need to vote. Not voting and then complaining about the government is like intentionally driving your car into a brick wall and then asking why you can't get anywhere.

They will ignore and just won't give a shit at all about 2nd party, write in or protest votes such as for cartoon characters. The ones who have less of a right to complain are the voters themselves since they are helping to keep a corrupt system running.

Well, The Republicans made Some Gains in the U.S. and The Democrats Won the U.S. House which basically means that in the morning, Donald Trump will talk and act as if his party had a Great Night and The Democrats had a Bad Night. LOL!

I'm actually pretty pleased with the outcome. In my opinion, the Founding Fathers intended the making of new laws to be difficult and the current situation improves the chances that very little new legislation will be made. The most dangerous period of time for individual rights is when one party has a super majority in both houses and the executive office. We've had that a few times in the 20th century.
