Bruce Willis really has fallen off the radar in the last 5 years or so. Hes doing a lot of lesser known films that get a limited release now. Death Wish was the film that said to be a comeback for him but I really haven't seen it. Perhaps the upcoming Glass will give his career a boost. Anyway rate/rank the films of his career. Count small parts/cameos/voice work if you want.
Pulp Fiction - 10/10 Die Hard with a Vengeance - 10/10 Die Hard - 10/10 Die Hard 2 - 10/10 Beavis and Butt-Head Do America - 9/10 The Expendables 2 - 9/10 The Expendables - 8/10 Armageddon - - 8/10 Live Free or Die Hard - 7/10 A Good Day to Die Hard - 7/10 Striking Distance - 7/10 Twelve Monkeys - 7/10 Color of Night - 7/10 Hostage - 7/10 The Last Boy Scout - 7/10 The Sixth Sense - 6/10 The Siege - 6/10 The Fifth Element - 6/10 RED - 6/10 RED 2 - 6/10 G.I. Joe: Retaliation - 6/10 Unbreakable - 6/10 Looper - 6/10 Fast Food Nation - 6/10 The Jackal - 6/10 Nobody's Fool - 6/10 Look Who's Talking - 6/10 Blind Date - 6/10 The Whole Nine Yards - 6/10 Planet Terror - 6/10 Over the Hedge - 6/10 Fire With Fire - 5/10 Marauders - 5/10 Cop Out - 5/10 Surrogates - 5/10 Look Who's Talking Too - 5/10 Mortal Thoughts - 4/10 Hudson Hawk - 4/10 Setup - 4/10 Lucky Number Slevin - 4/10 Rugrats Go Wild - 4/10 Vice - 4/10 First Kill - 4/10 Death Becomes Her - 4/10 16 Blocks - 4/10 The Prince - 3/10 Ocean's Twelve - 3/10 The Whole Ten Yards - 3/10 Last Man Standing - 3/10 Breakfast of Champions - 3/10 Precious Cargo - 3/10 The Cold Light of Day - 3/10 Extraction - 3/10 Perfect Stranger - 3/10 The Bonfire of the Vanities - 2/10 The Story of Us - 1/10 North - 1/10

The only movies of Bruce Willis I score a 6-6.5/10 or higher are...
1)Pulp Fiction (1994) - 9/10 (even though this is my highest scoring movie Bruce Willis appeared in, I don't really see this as his movie as I see it more of a Sam Jackson movie. basically when I think 'Bruce Willis' this movie does not really stand out in that regard) 2)The Last Boy Scout (1991) - 8/10 -)Die Hard 3 (1995) 4)Die Hard (1988) - 7.5-8/10 -)The Whole Nine Yards (2000)
6)Die Hard 2 (1990) - 6-6.5/10
so basically... he's got 5 gems (i.e. 7/10 or higher) and a 6th that's a honorable mention (i.e. 6-6.5/10 status).
p.s. IMDb says he's uncredited for 'Four Rooms (1995)' but I am not going to count this one. If I did it would be a 6-6.5/10.
Those 'comeback' claims are almost always BS in general. I never take them seriously, at all, because the following is almost always true...
you got a big name person in acting and they are big for years and then eventually drop off... they rarely have any staying power after that even though they may get lucky and land in a decent movie once in a while after that point they fall off. but seeing them start to consistently land in solid movies, that pretty much don't happen once they fly off the radar for too long.

I mean, he's arguably the protagonist.

VitsYeah, you could. I guess I just mainly think 'Sam Jackson' when I think Pulp Fiction because his scenes stand out the most in my mind. with that said... I am not saying one can't count it as a Bruce Willis movie (or even Travolta for that matter) as you easily could as he's got decent screen time etc. but it's just that Sam Jackson stands above the rest if you ask me which is why when I think Bruce Willis I tend to think Die Hard etc more than Pulp Fiction even though I like Pulp Fiction more than Die Hard straight up.

I gave it a second thought and what you said makes a lot of sense. VINCENT has more screen-time, but JULES is technically the one with the complete arc. Not to mention that the climax of the entire movie revolves around him.
