None of the above. I'll probably see The Nutcracker this weekend.

Overlord if it wasn't for J.J. - bane of franchises - Abrams and the black lead.
A black guy has no business in WWII Germany.

Pretty sure I won't have time for any movies this weekend. 'Overlord' seems the only one out of that group that I'd consider watching at some point down the road.

Grinch will win the weekend Judging from the commercials, this Grinch seems more a mildly annoyed cuddly grump in contrast to his original TV incarnation.

In my area, our internet isn't even good enough to watch a 2min trailer, so streaming on Netflix is impossible. If it doesn't come to one of our mom'n'pop theatres or out on DVD, I don't get to see it. ππ«π

I saw Overlord on Friday, not because it was the one I was looking forward to the most (that would be the new Lisbeth Salander movie) but because it was the most convenient, and because I want to save Lisbeth to watch with friends when I get back home next week.
Overlord was OK, although I had a hard time getting past the shoehorned diversity casting.

Overlord if it wasn't for J.J. - bane of franchises - Abrams and the black lead. A black guy has no business in WWII Germany. Tuskegee Airmen. An HBO movie of the same name in the 90's, and Red Tails, both about black men fighting for the U. S. OF A. in WWII. And there was Shoshanna's black boyfriend in German-occupied France in Inglorious Basterds. Who gives a fuck who plays what when it's a fictional story? A fictional story firmly in the sci-fi/horror genre, at that!

A fictional story firmly in the sci-fi/horror genre, at that! And still it re-writes history by making the people believe the non fantastic elements of the movie. Like non-segregated units. Abrams is well known to be an agent of the diversity agenda of Hollywood.

Sucks that your internet is so spotty. Petition your municipal leaders to get better internet for your area, you shouldn't have to put up with that.
