The last film from John Carpenter in the 1980s. Not a great film (probably a 7/10) but its ideas and themes seem even more relevant today. Roddy Piper and Keith David have a good chemistry together and their long-ass fight alone is worth the price of admission. Plus, Carpenter imbues the film with his noted style. If you haven't already, I suggest listening to the commentary track with Piper and Carpenter.
