What are you honest opinions about it? Do the characters and scenarios work? What other TV comic book shows would you compare it to?

I like it, it was a little rocky going with one of the characters in the first episode or 2, but I like how they interact, for the most part, there was a scene in the latest episode which kind of came out of nowhere and could have done with some lead up, but I like the group as they are together.
I think the show isn't a week to week story though, feels like it would be better off being binged or watched on a shorter schedule however you like so either an episode a day or by splitting the season over a weekend, I think once the season ends and I rewatch it i'll like the show even more, but as of now I really like it, which is surprising given how the trailers actually made me weary, still not exactly what I wanted but a lot better than I feared so im a happy chappy.

Yes, saw first few episodes were good, enjoyed the bad guy concept especially. Never read the comics so I do not care for design changes.
The R rating shows, everytime my brain goes into yawn-another-CBM-kiddy-variation something exiting, interesting or violent happened. "Fuck Batman" in Ep1 was the juvenile motto low point, but this thing is way better than expected.
On hiatus now as I want to binge watch the entire thing not doing one episode per week and getting an interruptus every time it gets going.

Saw 3 and 4, got even better. Cracy Frankenstein stuff with the doom patrol was hillarious. Very entertained and fun should do a film with these guys.
No time for 5 but read it's amazing.

Is it confirmed that Titans is not part of the DCEU? I have not seen it so I have no idea.

Thanks.

It’s part of an entirely new continuity. Just to give an idea, Cyborg is set to appear on Doom Patrol (which is a spin-off of Titans) and is played by a completely different actor. Apart from that, there’s also the fact that both Dick Grayson (who Snyder claims was the dead Robin) and Jason Todd (who WB claims was the dead Robin) are both very much alive and well in Titans.

Yeah, it's fucking great. Not a classic, but fresh and different enough to be memorable in the genre mainstream. Don't usually watch this stuff but this got me hooked.
Seen it up to Ep 6.
