John Mctiernan's first film before directing Die Hard and Predator. Worth a watch? I heard it wasn't very good, though I am curious about what McTiernan was doing before Predator.

“Nomads” is very different in style to what he would follow up. I found it to be bit of a drag. There are some nice dreamy, surreal visuals (very Arthouse vibes) and Bill Conti’s opening theme, but overly muddled writing with heavy pandering disrupts an interesting set-up and Bronson’s mumbling French accent eventually becomes as nonsensical like the film. As a director it showed ability, however this was his one and only writing credit. And it shows. Cult film fodder for the curious.

Saw it many years ago. All I remember was that I wasn't that impressed, and that, I think, Adam Ant was in it.
