It might have worked against me I wouldn't have clicked otherwise.
I think Alien was very entertaining and exciting. Aliens as well. I have not seen 3rd and 4th though if anyone recommended I do give them a chance.

I’m a fan of the Alien franchise as a whole. Alien and Aliens are head and shoulders above the rest tho. I only recommend 3 and Resurrection if you enjoyed the first two, but expect a drop off in quality. I didn’t really care for Prometheus or Covenant as a part of the Alien franchise. It feels disjointed from it.

I like the movie but it's nothing special like it's made out to be.
in fact, it's the only movie I mildly like from that series.
I gave it a 6/10 (a mild Thumbs Up).

It is in my top ten favorite movies of all time. The movie was so well done, especially for its time.

Dan! Too late! I already pulled the self destruct switch when I read your post title, and when I got around to reading your post, I tried to "cancel" the "destruct", but it was too late, so now we have like 283 seconds left before everything within a thousand miles of Earth is annihilated and sent to Oblivion.
Thank you.

I was so ready to flame you when I saw that headline. Is this really the first time you have ever seen it?

Good film but Aliens was just in a class by itself. Of course you have the quandary that without Alien you wouldn't have Aliens. Hmm....
