Favorite of all time? That's a tall order. I have enough trouble picking a fav movie and there are far more songs than movies. I guess today I'll go with "Awaken" by Yes. It takes a couple of minutes for the song to get cranked up.
One of the comments...
Marketing 15 years ago "The circle of fifths is a chord exercise that allows you to go through all 12 major keys and return to the key you started in (in this case key of E). In the 'workings of man' and 'master of' sections Anderson has them start on the E chord, then A then D then G then C then F then Bb then Eb then Ab then Db then Gb then B and through 6 6/8 measures then start on E again, which means every time they change chords they change keys, yet somehow he's able to put a cohesive melody /lyrics over it!"

Used to really like the full album version. Now prefer the truncated single. I can't listen to the "Breathe deep the gathering gloom..." interlude any more.

Which one is YOURS? I can't choose just a favourite song; there are too many I like. I love a few of The Moody Blues' songs, Nights in White Satin being one of them.

It's beautiful, but I like Tuesday Afternoon even more.

No such thing as a favorite song. Depending on my mood at the time
Speaking of the Moody's, I'd put out a prop for I'm Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band). I love John Lodge's bass in that tune. Hypnotic and fun to play

Which one is YOURS? My favorite song is technically two songs, "The Hellion" immediately followed by "Electric Eye":

Have you heard their new one, "Firepower" (2018)? IMO, and that of many critics, it's their best since Painkiller (1990)! I started a 2018 Rock/Metal Album Releases thread with a link to the full album on YouTube.
