I think he will. He's a Michael Bay type that have visually striking movies. He wasn't too attached to Justice League. And his name kept coming up in wanting his version of that movie. I think the only red flag would come from studios and how the DCEU was perceived by the general audiences.

Maybe he will direct the next X-Men movie? Please no. Wouldn't the next "to be made" X-men movie be in the MCU? Don't think we are getting Gambit, Multiple Man and Kitty Pryde. disney are not making xmen movies. they are making something else similar to disney star wars. KIDS CGI GARBAGE. xmen ended with logan that has forever killed mcu movies. maybe more than tdk ever did since it burn mcu more than logan is a marvel movie not just mickey mouse jokey marvel mcu.
also look how you are exposing yourself again? matt reeves is more of a nolan, classic Singer and mangold type of director.the planet of the apes trilogy is very comparable to the tdk series especially in technicality, check this out.
see the cinematography? it has apes but does not look like a cartoon like mcu movies. james mangold the director of logan has endorse his friend matt reeves as a good choice for batman when some batman fans asked Mangold to make a batman movie, mangold said reeves is a good choice. most batman fans like me knows he will do good and can even make something as good if not better than nolan, timm and burton.
so why will mcu fans been against such a director for an xmen movie? LMAO.I hope mcu dsney xmen comes out around the same time as reeves batman, when it gets disgraced and embarrassed and xmen fans say they think reeves batman is a better xmen movie than mcu xmen, that will be good fun.
mcu fans are funny. they hate matt reeves too. funny how mcu fans hate all this prestigious directors who are known for making mostly quality movies regardless of genre.

Actually I think Disney has a strict no Zack Snyder policy since you know, they want actual talent behind the camera; The Russo Bros, the Ryan Coogler's, the Taika Waititi's in the film world. ryan coolger is talented, his talent did not just show much in black panther. bad cgi and generic plot
taika waititi has a style, again his talent did not show in thor 3 since the movie made thor a silly joke...a silly gotg joke movie which is horrible since thor used to be the most serious Avenger.
russo brothers are poorer version of a prime bryan singer since they dont know how to favour story telling and drama first over action something Singer was very good at. see X2, X-Men 1 or DOFP.
mcu dont hire talent to really use, they hire people they can control and worse, they give them a formula script to follow. reeves will want to be the master of his own script from head to toe like Mangold or Nolan. that is a no for MCU.

mcu is lost on artistry because all their movies follow a formula with no creative freedom.
people are hating on snyder but at least we know his artistry like it or not. you can tell a snyder movie, all mcu movies are the same, therefore artistry is lost. even things like film technicality that is mostly unique to one director only is not found in mcu movies.
this mcu fools brought up thor , a movie that is gotg 2.0? I still feel bad for anyone who knew what Ragnarok was from the comics and norse mythology.
