33 + 18 = 51
That's a majority.

I don’t mind people believing in their god but if part of their argument is saying god gave us something I demand proof (even if it is just a Wikipedia article).

Most doctors believing in God or in a superior entity is irrelevant.
Those doctors surely don't use God as an argument in how to dictate their own lives and their own methods.
It's beside the point.

Why wouldn’t they? Except not their medical procedures (which wouldn’t conflict anyway, actually). I know religious doctors who are very religious.

And I don't take religious people very seriously.

Didja know the majority of scientists admit to a belief in a God/Higher Power? But how many publish scientific papers saying things like, "Then God performed a miracle at this point in my experiment" or "God caused the results NOT to conform to the hypothesis, therefore I retested and asked God not to intervene" or "The reports of Smith, Jones and Johnson are all wrong because God doesn't agree with those findings"?

Don’t assume that doctors who believe in God mostly ignore their religions. There’s no need to do that. Religious doctors are as serious about medicine as doctors who don’t believe in God.

There is such a thing as compartmentalization. It is actually possible to do work without inserting your religion/politics into everything.

So if I say that i believe abortion is wrong, because I'm a Christian and as such, believe it's a sin....however, I also believe in free will and think it should be left up to the individual to decide if they want to get one or not; my beliefs shouldn't be forced on anyone....you'd dismiss me as a loon? Yes, I do.
Are you from 1830 or so?

Then that same person automatically loses all of his/her credibility and I stop taking them seriously.
It's so annoying whenever some people, specially some religious Republicans/Conservatives, start saying things such as:
- God gave us...
- When I hear God...
- I don't agree with you because God...
And etc...
Are these people still stuck in the Prehistoric Age?
It's like if I was talking to a Neanderthal in 2018.
Sort of like God Wins law?

Godwin's Law is an internet adage that is derived from one of the earliest bits of Usenet wisdoms, which posits that "if you mention Adolf Hitler or Nazis within a discussion thread, you've automatically ended whatever discussion you were taking part in."

I agree with Harry. It's a massive issue for SOME OF THE RIGHT especially when debating abortion. Whenever someone brings god into the discussion on policy, just take the L. Sometimes God is brought into policy by the nonreligious. It’s annoying too and oftentimes for pretty stupid reasons.

Of course, but what, exactly does believing in God mean, then?
