Implied suicide by a kid still doesn't sound like PG-13 material. Again, the PG-13 rating really doesn't allow for much in a movie. I think you might be thinking PG. Because PG13 can get away with most things besides lots of gore, frontal nudity and strong language. You can get away with a butt shot, a few f-bombs and some blood. You can also get away with implied things, like implied suicide by a kid.

Not really. You can drop a total of two f-bombs in a PG-13 movie, but that depends entirely on what the rest of the content in a movie is like. You also can't really show blood squibs in a PG-13 movie. The MPAA is a lot more strict than you may think.

I thought it was just one F-Bomb.
The director of Bring it On mentions the irony of it because the MPAA wanted him to cut out or change a piece of dialogue where a cheerleader says, "Just head" to "Just tongue" or else it couldn't be PG-13 and get an R rating.
He said he could've just put in the F-word instead, and it would've stayed PG-13 since he's allowed one use of it.

That counts as gore.
