I'm on Dray's side. He got the board and did what he generally does - point-guard it to the front court. Durant may have wanted the ball at the hoop, but when he didn't get it he should have been racing down the court.
And since when do they care that much about a regular season win?

I know KD is a great player and all that, but I'd take Draymond Green on my team any day of the week. If things get ugly in the Bay, Draymond is welcome on the Celtics whenever he wants.

apparently things got ugly in the locker room afterwards and even GS players agreed Green should be suspended
surprised we haven't heard much from Boogie Cousins this far and it appears hes on good behavior behind the scenes.
Rockets are a mess - is it possible the Warriors implode with mass in team drama?
who's next team up in the West - blazers, jazz, nuggets, spurs - dare I say LeBron?

Draymond Green’s one-game suspension for “conduct detrimental to the team” came after he repeatedly called Kevin Durant a “bitch.” Klay Thompson, who is typically reserved, spoke up in the locker room to the surprise of his teammates about the altercation and stressed the importance of sticking together, sources said.

Not only did he call him a bitch, but he made a comment that Durant would not be here next year anyway. I have been positive that Durant would resign with the Warriors this offseason, but now I am not so sure.

I wanted the C's to draft him in 2012. Instead we took all time greats Jared Sullinger (already out of the league) and Fab Melo (RIP). Not Danny's best draft.

I found KD's Washington Redskins hat he just wore in a press conference revealing. Correct me if I'm wrong - isn't he from DC? Imagine putting KD with Wall and Beal if they don't blow that team up. Where's KD land next year: L.A. New York DC or perhaps - a team on the verge that is located between New York and DC

kds got a ring - he's probably laughing at Russ He's got two. And two Finals MVPs to boot. Congrats to Russ for getting his big men to stay out of the way so he can average a triple double.

Congrats to Russ for getting his big men to stay out of the way so he can average a triple double. my fear with Butler - not in the sense he's a stat stuffer - but he wants to be 'the man'. this will never be his team - it's Embiids/Simmons will be intriguing to see how this plays out - i.e. if he can be a leader/missing piece.

Dray's feelings get hurt easily too. I think this will lead to him being gone after next year when his contract is done - he goes to Detroit. He's going to end up there anyway at some point, the only question is whether it's sooner or later and now it's looking like sooner. I just hope the dubs can resign KD. I'd love to keep Dray but I don't think it's happening now.

I don't think Butler is a good fit in terms of personality or game. As you said, he wants to be the man, and nobody in Philly is going to see him that way. And he needs the ball to be effective, just like Simmons. The lineup looks scary on paper until you start thinking about how a possession will go in the last four minutes of a playoff game. And that's if the team doesn't combust before that because everyone already hates each other. I've been wrong on this stuff before, maybe Butler is just what the Sixers needed. The social dynamic on that team is going to make the difference between them being contenders or a total train wreck.

sports commentating guru Skip Bayless has an interesting take.
Green must be dealt to keep KD
Green on the Sixers would look pretty sweet. I'd think about dangling Fultzy, the 2021 Miami 1st Rounder and Filler.
We're lacking depths with bigs rights now as Muscala and Chandler have had injury issues and we just jettisoned Saric.

Fultz = worthless, filler = worthless, what makes you think Golden State would take that deal? A big pile of individual pieces of crap doesn’t add up to any useful value.

I think you're highly underestimating the value of that Miami 2021 1st Rounder as well as other additives i.e. - that the Warriors may not have room to sign Draymond and would rather continue to roll with Klay, Steph, KD for a Big 3. Green is a very good player - some may argue a star. I say he's a product of his environment and label him a 'very good' player. very valuable.

The pick has value, but the pick alone won’t get you a player of Green’s value. Adding crap to the pick doesn’t make it more attractive.
