I deleted my previous post about this because I made a BIG mistake in it. That being said, If they make a " FAST & FURIOUS 9" then do you yourself think that they should have Charlize Theron return to once again Play the Main Villain in it.....YES or NO ?    |

Yes. and maybe she turns into a semi-good character? or something like that. I have to disagree respectfully. They did that with Jason Statham's character and I absolutely hated that. The Man killed Han and then 1 movie later, he becomes a good guy!

Yeah I also didn't like the Statham switch from bad to good guy and I was thinking he was going to betray the team eventually, so that's what I was going for (Charlize pretending to be an ally but with an evil back up plan)  |

I'd say sure, why not? Theron plays villains very well, these movies set the stage for a villain to ham it up a bit (it's a role you can have some fun with and take some chances), and she's an interesting foil for the big muscly guys and their crazy cars. Just ruminating, I'd put her up with Angelica Houston, Claire Higgins, and Cate Blanchette, in the ranks of under-celebrated villain-actresses.
These movies are as popcorn as it gets, but I like fast cars and having mindless fun. Theron is a good fit. She has that same steely villain energy that someone like Michael Ironside ("Totall Recall" and lots more) does. And it looks like she has fun with it, and I'm a believer in that translating to their performance.
Keep 'em coming I say. Parachuting jeeps, guys holding and firing helicopter mounted machine guns, GORGEOUS cars (new and classic). It's all getting pretty dumb (the Dubai thing was totally ridiculous). But hey...I've killed 90 minutes in worse ways.
