WB needs to blow up the DC Extended Universe (Cinematic Universe).
Simple. Make Batman a detective, mob style. He works unofficially with Commissioner Gordon to solve murders and crimes etc... Have one actor do 3-5 films then recast. They are one off stories. That way if one sucks (e.g. with Bond Quantum of Solace) the next one could be great (e.g. Skyfall).
If they want to do a Justice League film, make it a Lord of the Rings style 3 part EPIC. Make the villain Darkseid and one of the films is on Apokolips. Just use whomever is Batman at the time in these films.
WB needs to realize that Batman can be so much more than a 'Comic Book Film' even though he's great in Justice League comics and tv shows, it's kind of ridiculous seeing Batman fighting Darkseid or Doomsday in live action.

Oh okay, when I first read the title of the thread I thought you meant Batman should be in Monaco playing Baccarat or something.
Your proposed ideas sound good though. I'm not big into comic book films but I like the idea of him being a detective working unofficially for Gordon.

I think the new Batman series if it happens should be treated like a neo-noir action thriller like John Wick or Sin City. Totally agree with your other points, especially with Justice League. Done proper it'd be amazing. Aside from Gadot and hopefully Momoa, the whole long term contract thing doesn't seem to be panning out ( ) as intended. Someone said elsewhere that the DCEU at least introduced audiences to these characters (that imo didn't need much introduction save maybe Suicide Squad?). So they can just run wild and rampant now; I'd advise only minimal callbacks to the Snyder-verse at best.
Stick to solo movies for the core members; introduce a new Batman and Superman 3-4 years from now; up until five years later and do a new Justice League movie. I'd still like it to be a shared universe though. But I'm fine with it being loosely connected. As I mentioned before, anyone that can read should be able to see the DC logo and know it's not a Marvel film.

Yes. I'm so beyond origin stories on film. We want Batman, we like Batman, we do not need another 180 minutes showing how he became Batman. We f'n get it. Give us cinematic TAS.

That’s pretty much what the 89 film was. It got down to the point of introducing us to the Caped Crusader without any backstory beforehand.
