I nearly ditched this after 10 minutes but glad I stuck it out. Not really any likeable characters and that includes the kids. But a slice of life drama for different kind of folk living and working in a welfare motel. The child actress playing Moonee did quite a job. 7/10

Same, in the first 10 minutes I was like "this movie is going to be torture" because of the characters, but it ended up being my favorite movie of last year.
