The first pick you would think was from POS phone. Nope from my new Galaxy s8. I didn't check the picture until I was ready to take the second pic and realized how bad it was. It's just a blank piece of paper with a little kenetic energy in the upper left. The next pic rough as hell. Now should I post pics as I go? Or should charzhino have to wait until I'm done to see them? When I did something for my family I would block them from seeing the photos on facebook. Everyone else could but not the blocked person. What say you all Yay or Nay???

I voted to show progress right after you made the thread. 😆 I assumed you were one of the 3. I just wanted to cover all my basis with the mass tagging

It'd be cooler to wait until it's unveiled but then see step-by-step pictures then too. Innit? Or is that not how being talented at something works? I wouldn't know.

My friends and family like to see my work as it goes. I usually take a pic of what I am working on after a session of work. I post it to my facebook. When I'm done I'll loop all the pics taken into a animated gif. So if I were to hold off till I'm done to show I will post the animated gif.

I just wanted to cover all my basis with the mass tagging I’ve been in a creative rut for a long time, so seeing others’ work helps a little. Plus I’m big on Spoilers. But seeing each step at the end sounds good, too. 🤷♂️

That depends on your process. I say, you’re an artist and, you shouldn’t be obligated to provide previews of in-progress work. It would be different if we were patrons or cash-paying customers.

I usually do it for my family and friends on facebook, so not out of the ordinary. Especially for the next few pics, it's still going to be a very Rough sketch. After completing it I will go back and firm it up then proceed from there. As long as everybody knows the first few will be rough it'll be ok.

Dude, the roughest shittiest scrap you've ever thrown away is prolly better than anything most of us have ever drawn. I wouldn't worry about it if you decide to share.

I also don't want you to be disappointed that I use reference pics for this. So you might recognize it from another place. (Say like a back issue of Gambit)
I can draw, ink, and color my own work, but when I am doing it for somebody I'll scour through images.google.com and look for a cool pic of say Gambit. Sometimes I find pics that I like but don't like the style of shading so I'l use the pic and digitally block shade on top of it. I actually did that for this pic.

You should do the iconic one where he's making out with Rogue.

I'd rather be surprised and, no doubt delighted, by the final piece. I'm not really big on spoiler culture. Treating this like a work-for-hire is a perfectly valid approach though.

I suppose it depends on what Charzhino himself would prefer but I don't see why we couldn't see as it progresses.

I thought I posted this earlier but don't see it. If I do another Game with a prize it will probably be for Avengers 4. That gives me time to catch up and do politicidal drawing. If thenewnexus wins would that mean I'd have to do a photo realistic drawing of Kat? charzhino how did you vote? I just realized how much I fucked up your name on the Poll.
