Can we say "MCU movies are for children" or "MCU movies are for kids"? That's not the same thing as saying MCU fans are children or kiddies. It's similar to saying " Ralph Breaks the Internet is a kids' movie", which isn't the same thing as saying "Wreck-It Ralph fans are kids". As long as I can say DC-Fan is a troll or that DC-Fan is a jerk, sure why not? Because let's be honest here, haunted and scabs are trying their best to get some semblance of control here yet you can't help yourself but see just how much you can bend and provoke the rules as you just demonstrated with your latest post

DC-Fan to answer your question. No. I'll update the rules and flesh them out more.

What if they make one aimed at children, like GOTG2?This film is made of the most lowbrow penis, turds and nipples humor and blatant misogyny. This is NOT aimed at children (I hope) but literally pandering to the lowest common (toilet) denominator. Thus, if you describe GOTG2 as film for children you'd be wrong; whereas if you describe most other MCU stuff that way you'd be right.

Anyways, I would not allow my underage children to watch this anymore than I would let them near James Gunn...

I thought it was pretty good! Everything that fell flat for me with the first one -- the one-liners, the team dynamic, basically everyone's performance besides Pratt and Rocket, the effects -- was all improved. Not dramatically, but substantially. And the end paid off both movies at once! Innit? So basically had you been there, you would've been like:

I like the fact that some are scrambling to know how much of an asshole they can be to other people and not get into trouble. Simple solution, don't act like assholes to each other and everything will be fine. You can strongly disagree with a person. Hell I do that everyday in real life, but I keep it civil. How about we comment to each other like we are sitting at a busy mall food court. How would you talk to other people there? Some people you know some you don't. You might not say anything, but if you over heard someone talking about good things about 50 Shades books you wouldn't scream over everybody and point, to him and say "Those books fucking suck. You are a whore for reading them, Hey guys look at the Whore with the 50 Shades book. It's ok guys I know the most I can say before the Cop patrolling the Mall will intervene. ...Where was I. Oh yeah you are a garbage human being and your feet smell.

Don't wanna bring up old stuff, but when I was temp banned I did not get a screen like that. No countdown. I assumed it was permanent. Unless this is a new feature? "What?!" you're probably thinking. "When did I ban an Ackbar! I LOVE Ackbars! You guys are national treasures!" Ah, don't even worry about it. It's all water near a bridge! I totally deserved it anyway. I was being a real Quarren that day. Three days in the ban trap and I emerged a changed squid. Innit? If it was temporary, there was an expiration date on the screen. Maybe I just wanted to get your attention.

In the case of a temporary ban, the expiration is stated right on the login screen. Oh that's alright then. I thought someone here who got banned for a week or two said they didn't know it was only temporary. Well that's one less issue then. Edit: Don't wanna bring up old stuff, but when I was temp banned I did not get a screen like that. No countdown. I assumed it was permanent. Unless this is a new feature? I figured it was you who I got it from. I knew I'd seen it said somewhere.

Hauntedknight87 and scabab , I implore you not to give him the go-ahead. Yeah, this would be taking it a step too far. Wreck it Ralph actually is a kids movie because it was made for kids. The MCU movies are made for people of all ages so saying they're for kids when they factually aren't is just goading people. You can however say that you find Guardians of the Galaxy to be childish though or something along those lines.

Holy smokes! ... looks like I’m late to the party. Some random observations ...
Instead of targeting known terrorists and their enablers, the mods have decided to take the TSA approach. Now everyone is subject to random pat downs, long lines and the confiscation of liquids over 3.4 oz. The US government had to create a whole new agency to handle that.
It’s amusing to see some people already bickering in a topic about cutting out the bickering. They’re going to have difficulty assimilating to this brave new world, me thinks.
The troublemakers are already probing the extents of the new rules to see what they can get away with. The mods certainly have their hands full. Good luck!

Admin, am I hearing you right? You’re extending our mods’ control to every board? I don’t envy them their task. I don't know what you heard, but I'm fairly certain it wasn't me. In any case, no. I think they have their hands full here. Count your blessings, though, for I'm not as forgiving as they are. I lost the motivation to "rehabilitate" a long time ago. I tolerate quite a bit, but should there come a time to ban and move on, I don't argue. Oh, I was just being silly because PowerRanger said he was now going to the Star Wars board. And I think the mods are doing a great job.

DC-Fan to answer your question. No. I'll update the rules and flesh them out more. Ok so we can’t describe MCU films as films for children? What if they make one aimed at children, like GOTG2? If you want to critized the film's for having toliet humor or humor in general. That's fine. As long as the thread title isn't written in a way that will antagonize people. That's all I'm asking. And if the topic gets too heated, scabs or me will step in.

If you said that you'd be lying. Lying about GOTG2 just to make a subtle insult is exactly the kind of stuff haunted is trying to stop. You know what you're doing, stop being an ass.

You must've missed my valiant defense of Guardians 2. I'd say I at least argued the case to a mistrial. Innit? Wait, is mistrial good or bad?
