I am talking about management people of various teams, even the so called NBA experts, the NBA administrators themselves and the NBA players. Every now and again I see things in NBA that make very little sense. When coaches make changes or decide to bench a player or when they take time-out etc etc all seems to be done in an inefficient way.
Let's see last night's example.
Houston Rockets decided to rest Chris Paul because they were playing back to back games. That's fine. But they should have decided to rest CP3 on the first of the two games and not the second. Why? Because the first game was against a more competent team Detroit who had almost beat them at their home court 2 days before. But they rested him against Cavs which is a weaker team. If they picked the timing right regarding CP3's day off then Rockets could have won one more game.
And I have seen many more things that make me believe that the whole NBA is surrounded by people who may not have as much average IQ as people associated with leagues like NHL or EPL may have.

Interesting.
Can't one argue they may have rested him because the Cavs are horrible and they were thinking they could win without him?
Can't believe they beat the Sixers on Friday night.

Chris Paul makes everyone worse around him.

Yes, they probably thought they could beat CAVS without Paul but as a fan most of us (folks of Clutch forum as well) do realise potential of our team. We don't think we should never take a chance on games that are of the worst teams. Every game is precious and a loss by Cavs is too bad. But what I am saying can be observed in other matters too.

Chris Paul makes everyone worse around him. I am not a big fan of CP3 as a person or a leader and I still hold him responsible for bringing Melo cancer to our team.
But many things that NBA people do (including NBA experts) seems not too efficient.

Interesting. Why don't you like him as a person or a leader - seems like a likeable guy from those State Farm commercials
