Sounds like a joke to me. It’s no joke. That lady happens to be a fine actress. She played Claire in Not the Cosbys XXX.

It seemed fine to me. The story's kind of Shakespearean, but set in Africa.
I feel her anger off the screen and Black Panther's hardly perfect but it's the best result of its kind that I've ever seen. She keeps asking how much we hate her and I don't hate her at all. Why would I? She's looking at me like she's expecting a serious answer.
It doesn't bring me any joy that the movie upset her so much, but I can't get on board with a thing she's saying. She starts yelling and I want to fall asleep.

I actually watched the whole video, though I wanted to to pause it at two minutes when she was yelling her lungs out. No, lady, the movie isn't saying black Americans are evil. It's the Africans that look bad the most. T'Chaka killed his brother and left his nephew to be his own. For hundreds of years, Wakanda had advanced technology and insurmountable hills of vibranium and refused to share it with the world. It's Killmonger who comes off the most sympathetic and he is on the right of the argument, but he tries to achieve his motives the wrong way. He did ultimately get he wanted, but it was done through peace and diplomacy.
The message of Black Panther is about how will black minorities achieve equality. Killmonger seeks to achieve equality through violence while T'Challa wants to do it through opportunity such as the community center.

She makes it out like they made the movie FOR her, WTF? Like, calm down bitch, just because the bad guy was black, doesn’t mean the movie was anti-American. FOR F**K SAKE your main hero is a black guy.
I wonder if she passed up Infinity War since she said she’ll never watch a “damn Marvel movie” again. LOL

I did not see it being offensive to Afro-Americans but rather to African. Been to East Africa several times and have good relations there, and yet, never encountered anybody
- who grunts like apes - entertaining atavistic clobber-to-death rituals like pre-historic savages when dealing with leadership - categorically isolating rescources and knowledge for their own good - riding on CGI rhinos when going to battle
But in the end I think the film just too stupid to be racist against anyone (including whites), it's just a black Disneyland conjured up by a bunch of white hacks to get some black kid money. So calm down everybody.

I did not see it being offensive to Afro-Americans but rather to African. Been to East Africa several times and have good relations there, and yet, never encountered anybody - who grunts like apes They are the mountain tribe. Their diety is a Gorilla (why gorilla...can you think of a more imposing, well known mountain dweller in Africa?). So they make grunting/barking noises when trying to intimidate. Similar has been seen in plenty of films in the past...300 for instance. So unless you have encountered a fictional mountain tribe that worships a Gorilla who are trying to intimidate you, I don't think your trips to East Africa and your good relations is really providing any insight is it. Again, how are your trips to East Africa and your good relations any insight on the events in a fictional, fantastical, isolated, technologically advanced nation in world of super-humans and aliens?

One just needs common sense for this.
