British, well done, good acting . . . But the story was ridiculous.
The star of the show acts like she is the first wife ever to have a cheating husband.
It sometimes seemed like "War of the Roses - British version".
1) She was an educated professional. He was a two time loser. She never should have let him handle the finances. 2) When one discovers they have a cheating spouse, they should divorce them, and share custody if the cheating spouse is a good parent.
Not be obsessed with either making it work or vengeance like this woman.
It is very entertaining. But always in the back of my mind I was thinking, "This is ridiculous. She is too smart to be doing this."
The British are good at smart dialogue and realistic subscenes. You rarely get these unrealistic scenes and dialogue that seem like TV speak.
The main star was very impressive. But as accused throughout the show, she does come off as arrogant, stuck up and superior.
What do you think?
(The final episode is really ridiculously stupid - 2 seasons.)
