For some reason hitchcockthelegend Everton are favourites with every firm against Burnley, and I'm trying to find out why. The Toffees are as short as 7/5 (Bet365) for the win with Burnley as big as 19/10 (Various) Burnley sit 11th and haven't lost in their last 3 EPL outings (W-D-D) while Everton sit 15th with a W-L-L in their last three league games. And of course the game is at Burnley. There's something I'm missing here about those odds. Team news/injuries is normal with Burnley having just two out and Everton three (although one of those, Walcott, should be available following his collision with the ball last week) The bookies aren't going to put me off and I may go the Burnley win or the draw. Yep, that is surprising given Burnley are always a tough nut to crack, especially at home. Everton lost to Villa, that's enough for me to think they are not going to beat Burnley on their own patch.

Currently in the table I am 3 points off European qualification and 4 points off relegation!
Must improve my home form for sure...

I think AJ has done a Back to the Future : Part 2 job and got hold of a Sports Almanac that shows the results of matches already played in the past!

Mank City got a shite record at Anfield but maybe they are due? Pep seems to have got into Kloppity Klopps head, he bit like a crocodile when Pep played the "diving" card 5/2 the draw is where my money is going, but gone for an away win on the tourney because I need it to stave off relegation fears...

I thought I tipped Liverpool - went for a draw. Makes me hate Man City just that little bit more now. seriously though, can Liverpool be caught ?

So the ten EPL games on Tues, Wed and Thurs (3-5 Dec) are the first of 20 games to be exclusively broadcast, or rather streamed, by Amazon Prime Video. I was wondering at the December fixture congestion and now I know.
Worth a thought for free live EPL football, but I just know I won't get round to it.
Amazon's second batch of live fixtures are the ten games on Boxing Day and the 27th. So is live footy on Sky/BT/NBC etc on these traditional footy days a thing of the past, you have to ask.

An edit to the latest table which initially had Weststigersbob as a non-mover on 6th (6th) now rectified to 6th (8th) having made progress moving up 2 places.

It’s funny - I didn’t even notice. i was surprised I got 5. I initially thought I got 4, then thought I got 6, and have double and triple checked that yes, I got 5. I blame Norwich. And Everton. And Tottenham.

Loathe as I am to change a prediction, that Norwich v Arsenal game on Sunday is in need of a serious re-think. The draw or Norwich to win is seeming more and more appealing after the Europa turn-out at The Emirates. Let's see what happens with Emery over the next couple of days. If he's still in the hot seat come Sunday, Norwich, as sh*te as they are, must surely warrant deeper consideration. It's not a surprise that more have gone for the draw than the away at this point.

Thought I had a 9/9 for a second - for some inexplicable reason I tipped Burnley away to Tottenham. Still, if Arsenal beat West Ham (and they should) a 9 for the round will do nicely.

Don't bank on it, brah. Changed mine from draw to AFC win - thought they might finally show us something but by all accounts they're not at the races, again. F***ing jokers
