In the upper left hand corner of the security footage during the last scene of the teaser trailer, it says "STRAT_1983 Archive". Then, Steve Rogers rises from his chair and asks, "Is this an old message?", hinting that it was recorded in the past.
This practically confirms the leaked set photos of Ant-Man of having time traveled to the past, and being in the Battle of New York.

Black Widow answers Cap's question with a "That's the front door." He's apparently there live.

My guess is they were in the middle of watching something from the 80’s, some kind of stock footage, and the outside camera abruptly interrupted them... which is why a Cap was asking if it was still prerecorded.

But wouldn’t he have had to get out of the Quantum Realm, shrink his van, and bring it to the past with him? It’s entirely possible but it would imply that he knew he was going to the past so he probably wouldn’t think Steve Rogers is at that facility in 1983.

There is no where near enough information in that trailer to be making any of these conclusion.

If the time travel theory is true, Scott probably is not talking to Steve and Natasha in real time. He could be talking to someone else. Wasn't the new Avengers headquarters originally a Stark warehouse? There is no where near enough information in that trailer to be making any of these conclusion. For right now, it's just a theory. It could also be a misdirect.

So the theory is that Scott took his van into the microverse, went through a time vortex, got out and went to the old Stark warehouse where he used the 1983 ultra-high definition security cameras to talk to people he won’t meet for 35 years and say “Remember me? We met a few years ago in Germany where I got pretty big!”...? Because that’s awfully specific.

If that's the case, then if Steve and Natasha have footage of him from the 1980s, then, where is Scott Lang presently in 2018?

In the upper left corner of the security monitor, it reads "STRAT_1983 Archive". Natasha's line about the back door throws the theory off, but for now, it's fun to speculate. I'm guessing "STRAT" is in reference to S.H.I.E.L.D..

If you look closely, there’s a contemporary card reader over Scott’s outstretched hand, and the van says X-Con on it so it’s definitely not the pas version of the same van. Plus it doesn’t definitely say ‘1983’, looks more like 1583, some arbitrary number like the ones on the right of the screen.
