The dialogue is better, the pacing is better, the plot is better, more interesting shit happens, two movies' worth of character setup are paid off, and the music is just as good! I put it like a full "star"/level above the first one. Ego is also one of the greatest movie douchebags of all time in my opinion. He is! He's also, like... the most powerful comic book character ever depicted onscreen apart from Thanos. Innit? Who's more powerful? Zod? Phoenix? Maybe the latter in 616, but in Last Stand Jean isn't like an "elemental being." |

They are too campy thats the problem and no risk Dude Venom, your favorite movie of the year, WAS campy. And no risk? Most of the characters adapted for the MCU were not A listers before they had their own movies and shows, the entire foundation was built on the first Iron Man which was a huge gamble considering the lack of popularity for the adapted character and that at the time RDJ was not a box office draw. |

The first two thor movies are proof No they aren't, Darcy didn't really do anything in either of them and we didn't really learn much about her, she doesn't have a story arc - if there is one then inform us what it was. |

Well that's subjective I suppose so you're free to feel that way. Mature? Your gonna have to explain yourself with that one. I wouldn't really call a movie where the protagonist acts like a buffoon at a restaurant, proclaims a steak to be "not alive" and jumps into a tank full of lobsters and proceeds to bite their heads off, telling their noisy neighbor to shut up in the most extreme and over the top way imaginable, craving tater tots and chocolate, and makes out with his symbiotic host to rekindle their relationship as very mature storytelling. Like, at all. Hardy did good, but not as good as he usually does in other roles. |
