I'm extremely curious as to who Matt Reeves will cast in this . My top choice to play the Batman is Garrett Hedlund . I've previously mentioned his name before and will continue to do so. I think he'd be a PERFECT Batman/Bruce Wayne (the right age, right height at 6'2, can do the whole "brooding" thing, deep cool voice and is in great shape etc etc) Get Andy Serkis for the role of Penguin or the Riddler & scale the budget back a bit and profit!  |

I think I've asked before, but why Serkis as the traditionally short and pudgy Penguin? Plus, not to typecast, but isn't there a gaudier DC role for the mocap king? Darkseid, Clayface, Gorilla Grodd of course... I've been thinking Finn Wittrick for Bats ever since I saw him as the Patrick Batenan esque guy on American Horror Story. Plus he's really got the Batman chin. Although I just realized he's only 5'9. |

This is expert universe building. Haven’t you noticed by now? The DCEU will be the blueprint movie companies will use for decades to come. If Batman no longer makes any money in Hollywood, then that is gospel.
