I am seeing the movie today. I will have to wait and see.
remember homecoming? mary jane is black, his bests friend is asian and all that stuff. however that is not my problem with homecoming.

Isn't he that troll critic? Yes. Every mainstream movie he reviews he waits to see what popular opinion is and then contrives an argument to make his opinion the polar opposite. His Aquaman review will be interesting as I think he will be confused which way to jump. Deep down he will know it's not very good so he should write a positive review, but on the other hand, it is doing okay on RT which usually means he should say he hates it. He might be too conflicted to review it at all and focus upon hating Mary Poppins instead.

I did feel that SMHC had a bit too much identity politics thrown into it but I didn't feel that way with this movie. Maybe because the diversity in SMHC felt a bit forced wheras it comes naturally to this movie.

I don't see how racial identity in New York of all places is "forced." Sam Raimi brainwashed the masses into thinking New York looks like Woodcrest, Maryland.
