'It Comes at Night' is the upcoming movie from director Trey Edward Shults (from Krisha). The film is scheduled to be released on June 9, 2017, by A24. The trailer looks amazing, this looks like it might just become the best horror movie of the year. What is your opinion?

Best horror of the year?
Looks pretty bland to me.
A party stuck in a cabin and they can't leave because there's a killer or creature in the woods.
Bet you the vast majority of the movie will be them sitting inside the cabin.

I saw the trailer before seeing GET OUT and I gotta say it looks terrifying. can't wait for this one. Joel Edgerton is usually in good to great movie lately so I am hyped for this.

Is that Robert Patrick??? Love him--yeah I'm in. This looks like the kind of apocalyptic thriller I usually love.

Now 7 reviews and an average rating of 8.6/10. I'll of course have to see it myself before I can form my own opinion, but I'm getting really excited after hearing the first reactions.

A few quotes from the reviews so far:
"It’s an unnerving, masterful piece of horror filmmaking, creating a sense of suspense about what’s out in the woods and when and if it will come for Paul and the others. But it’s the way it explores how its characters prepare to face what’s in the dark that makes it hit home." - Uproxx (rave review)
"The movie is a close-quarters psychological thriller built artfully and honestly, from the ground up, with more of a nod to early John Carpenter than mid-period Danny Boyle." - Variety (rave review)
"While we haven’t yet reached the halfpoint of the year I’m fairly confident in saying that when the year comes to a close It Comes at Night will stand tall amongst the very best of 2017." - Filmschoolrejects (rave review)
"It Comes At Night has solidified director Trey Edward Shults as a major genre figure, and given A24 another masterpiece to tout. It’s as self-assured and personal a piece of horror as you’ve seen in a long time, and the kind of exciting film you attend film festivals to see in the first place." - Slashfilm (9/10)
"With only his second film he’s again made something incomparable, a visceral and sad and beautiful story about what it means to be just like everybody else: a person confronting death, a person in perpetual grief—a person, like every person, haunted by all that we know." - Pastemagazine (8.5/10)
It Comes At Night marks yet another thoughtful, disturbing chiller for A24, which continues to cement itself as a source for high quality horror." - Collider (A-)

Okay I'm in. Me too. At first I was thinking just another cabin in the woods horror movie but these make it look more promising.

To be honest, it looks much better than Get Out which i found average I very much liked Get Out but these do seem to be two very different psychological horrors. Get Out a horror but mixing comedy and satire for a real message. This one looks to be just complete horror from start to finish, which is cool.
