I wasn't sure where to place this question, but it's something I just picked up on while watching Diamonds are Forever last night. After the sequence where Tiffany Case visits the Circus themed casino and Bond and Felix keep eyes on her, the next morning Bond is at a house with a swimming pool. He's sitting on the patio and Tiffany Case shows up. She says something about Bond "having some nerve showing up here..." How did Bond know that the house was where Case was staying, and then the main question results from Bond explaining that someone was going to kill her at which point Plenty O'Toole is shown having been drowned. Bond mentions that O'Toole showed up first and the killers took her out thinking she was Case. How did O'Toole know to go to that house? I don't understand why Bond or more specifically O'Toole had any reason to go there (or why).

Here's 2 deleted scenes from Diamonds Are Forever. At the end of the 2nd scene, Plenty O'Toole finds Tiffany's card which has Tiffany's address on it. I assume Plenty went to the address to confront her sexual rival.

Thanks for the reply. That sequence really bothered me. I've seen the movie a hundred times but never noticed the plot hole (even if very minor) until last night. This explains a lot. I suppose audiences never really cared how she ended up at the house in the first place except for nitpickers like me...
