I've seen bits but never sat down and watched it properly the whole way through. I could probably do that for free though, it's a cult movie usually screening on youtube in multiple editions.
Thanks!

If you're in the mood for a little goofy fun with so-so performances, cheap production values and a silly story, why not? "Hooray for Santy Claus!"

Tell the truth, the SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS I consider quintessential XMAS viewing is the MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 version.

After seeing Hallmark's Schmaltzy movies for a week (GF force is sometimes very strong), why not as a counterweight! ![](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jVO4ZRpTiaw/hqdefault.jpg) A Mexican movie from 1959, that has earned 2,6 at the moment on our old site. L'assassinat du Père Noël aka Who Killed Santa Claus? aka The Killing of Santa Claus 1941 directed by Christian-Jaque. This story is horrible, it was the first film produced by Continental Films, the infamous French production company financed by the Germany during WWII. Harry Bauer who plays Santa or Pere Noël as the say in French, was a jew and possibly ended up in gas chambers, or as they say died under mysterious circumstances. ![]()

In your case I'd expect to see a glowing 4 star review plus a lengthy dissertation on the technical merits of the film. So it's somewhat pointless to ask.
