I think it is a loser. I am not paying for a channel that has a poor quality of games. Most games are broadcast on CBS, FOX or NBC --- FOR FREE !!!
I feel the same way about ESPN. I am not paying for it. If I can't see it, I won't watch it. There is more to life than football.
What do you think?

I'm paying for league pass - - so what I'm paying for NFL Network is a drop in the bucket.

I think it's really odd at how a channel owned by the very same folks that run the pro games do not broadcast Sunday games.
It's like having the most awesome and epic party of the decade and you decide to leave town instead while it goes on in your own house that weekend.

But making viewers pay is stupid. ESPN is more than just football. But the NFL Channel is only football --- just pro football. It is fine that they tried it. But many people like me cannot afford to pay. The NFL Channel is free on Sling TV. Which is a much better deal than cable TV. But ESPN is not available anywhere else than for those willing to pay for it. Rich, wealthy and financially comfortable people can afford it. But nobody else can. I don't know if they are making money. A large portion of sports fans are not rich. And unless they are obsessed with sports, they are not going to see anything broadcast on these networks.

The number of homes getting ESPN has declined from about 100 million in 2012 to just under 90 million this year. Today, 23 percent of U.S. households have either cancelled cable or never signed up in the first place, according toย a 2016 PwC survey. Many of them are swapping cable for internet TV: Since 2012, Netflixโs subscriber base has doubled from about 25 million to about 50 million.
ESPNโs ability to stay profitable despite its billions of dollars in sports-rights deals is predicated on two things. First, it currently relies on the economics of bundling and the monthly income of households who pay hundreds of dollars for ESPN each year even though they donโt watch it. If pay-TV subscriptions continue to decline, ESPN will have less money to buy the very sports rights it proved were so valuable, leaving the door open for some other companyโlike CBS, or even Google or Amazonโto buy the rights, instead.www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2017/05/espn-layoffs-future/524922/More and more people are "cutting the cord" --- getting rid of cable for streaming. And ESPN is not available for streaming for those with no cable package that does not include ESPN.

It's ok. Has some good historical stuff. They go from game to game on Sunday. Can't stand their game crew - Mariucci, Ervin, etc.

I voted 'other', elaboration following....
The NFL sucks.
Out of all the professional sports, it's one of the lamest.
Only baseball sucks harder.
