And probably the best in any CBM recently
"The war is coming to the surface, and I'm bringing the wrath of the seven seas with me!" - King Orm

I laughed at this as it really summarizes the silliness of such films in an ironic way:
[Mera destroys the device] Arthur Curry: WAIT! Shouldn't we have written it down? Mera: I memorized it. Didn't you? Arthur Curry: Uh, sure. Mera: What did it say? Arthur Curry: Something something trident…

You tell anyone about this, you will meet every piranha I know!
A strong man is strongest alone.
You killed innocent people! Ask the sea for mercy!

A strong man is strongest alone. He said that again in Aquaman? When?

A strong man is strongest alone. He said that again in Aquaman? When? No, genius. Only the last one's a quote from the Aquaman film. The first two are Aquaman quotes from JusticeLeague obviously; the quote is Friedrich Schiller's. I think I will have to switch to another Aquaman quote for you: You do your best thinking when you're not thinking at all. You liked your own post? Hey if you're so desperate you get a Pity-Like from me. LOL

LOL So you posted quotes in an Aquaman movie quote thread that had nothing to do with the Aquaman movie, and you’re belittling me as the genius? If I liked my own post it was an accident; I don’t like anyone’s posts. I don’t know what a pity-like is, but it sounds painful. I don’t recommend it. Hey! I just had an idea! We should have a quote-off from Aquaman. I’ll start: “It’s customs and border patrol. BUT IN CASE YOU WERE WONDING, I HAVE DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY!” Amber’s getting Oscar buzz for that one

" I call it an ass-whooping." Awful! No idea what "wonding" means. Maybe English is her second language? Apart from that, what's wrong with her quote. Do you know Atlantian laws? I don't. Maybe it like under the 61 Vienna Convention guaranteeing immunity from criminal jurisdiction and prosecution of the of the receiving State, and even (limited) immunity from civil proceedings. You remind me of Arthur's "something, something...trident".Maybe you are in need of an Amber? Could save you from pity-likes, and you could teach her proper English.

But serious question, can he only communicate with sea creatures, or fest water creatures as well? That was just another silly joke inserted by Josh Whedon into JL. Probably Whedon was not even aware that these are fresh water fish and the consequences. But on a lore level it cannot be excluded that Aqua visited the Amazone once and met some piranhas there. And I see no reason why he should not be able to mind trick fresh water fish as well. Nothing in the lore contradicts it. In fact a piranha-nado would be pretty fun scene.

A lot of funny lines in the movie thanks to m'man Jason Momoa (I dig it!), but in all seriousness, the most profound in the movie for me, and perhaps the most profound in any superhero movie:
Aquaman: What could be greater than a king?
Aquamom: A hero.
Aquaman: What's the difference?
Aquamom: A king fights for his people. A hero fights for everyone.

I know I'm butchering it but before Arthur and Orm are about to fight:
"You know, I've always wanted to meet you little brother, til I found out what a dick you've grown up to be"
"You're the reason why our mother was executed, and I've always hated you for that."
