Two years after playing a Nazi dentist (the worst kind of dentist) in Marathon Man, Olivier now plays an elderly Nazi Hunter. It leans more on the side of broad stereotype, yet he still scored an Oscar nomination. Having more fun is Atticus Finch himself, Gregory Peck, playing Josef Mengele. Worth seeing just for the sight of them fighting each other. Decent score from Jerry Goldsmith, too.

Very scary movie. Great work from Steve Guttenberg as always.

The concept may be silly and farfetched, yet at the same time quite intriguing. It's an enjoyable, connect-the-dots espionage thriller.

It's been awhile seen I've seen this , but there were 2 good tv series along these lines of The Boys from Brazil . They were Secret Army , about the resistance movement in Belgium during WWII , cleverly splitting each episode in half showing the progress of the enemies on both sides . The series finishes with the Germans defeated , and many of the culprits going into hiding . When Secret Army finished , it was followed by a sequel series called Kessler , following criminal nazis who fled to South America , and their attempts from there to resurrect the Nazi Regime .
Other similar movies are The Odessa File and more recently Operation Finale . Or the fanciful scifi version , Iron Sky , or it's coming sequel Iron Sky II .

It's a guilty pleasure with some truly terrible acting (Peck is wooden, Olivier just bizarre) but is very watchable despite the ridiculousness. 5/10

A scene of this is showing on a tv in Casino (1995).
I read the book-the movie follows it quite closely.
The scene that always gets me is where Peck beats up the guy and his wife says someone get a doctor and Peck replies: "I am a doctor, you old ugly bitch."
And she reacts with dismay.
I would bet $$$ when her reaction shot was done, that was not the line that was spoken and she only found out if she watched the movie.
