I and My Lovely Wife used to go on Christmas and Thanksgiving until we decided not to frequent businesses who stayed open on these holidays and made their employees work instead of having the day off. This is a small gesture not that hard to do, but could have a big impact on labor practices if a lot of people get behind it.

I would hate to be working a movie theater at on Christmas day. I've gone a couple times; I don't even remember what I saw, I just remembered thinking it must suck to be these people. I didn't like it. Didn't want to do it again.

No.
p.s. unless your job absolutely requires one to work on Christmas day (say certain medical stuff etc), they should not be open. period.

I went on Christmas Eve. They were sold out of Aquaman so we left.
Last year I saw Justice League in Christmas. And I saw The Hobbit movies on the Christmases they came out.

No, I’m at my grandmother’s right now and certainly cannot go out to see any movies. Although I may see Into the Spider-Verse some time during the break.

While I understand what you mean, I would like to point out, that not everybody celebrates Christmas. Western countries have become so multicultural in recent years, that there are plenty of people of other religions to whom Christmas must mean very little, so it would be easy for this businesses to find someone (whether they are Muslim or Buddhist or Atheist doesn't really matter) who could work over Christmas.

some friends & I ended up seeing a screening of Bumblebee (since The Mule was all sold out on Christmas day ). Not gonna lie, Bumblebee was a decent / pleasant surprise and quite entertaining through out .
