I have liked many matches but there is one that can't ever go off my head and is something that I watch again and again on youtube. The match is The Undertaker vs. Mankind (Hell in a Cell match) and was a part of the King of the Ring 1998. I am a fan of The Undertaker but I am ever fascinated by Mick Foley for the performance he gave on that night. How can such a heavy person fall from that cage twice and still get up and fight? He still had the courage to get chokeslammed by Undertaker onto a pile of thumbtacks. Unbelievable. WWE at its very best!
Please share your favourite matche of WWE!

While I was entertained by that match there is a simple answer for me. It's the HIAC match that came before it. To me my favorite match of all time is Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker at Bad Blood. It didn't rely on spots to put itself over like the Taker/Foley match did. While it was good you only remember the spots Foley took. Foley even said it himself in "how do I top what what Shawn did? I gotta get thrown from the top." (he's said it multiple times and I don't care to look up the exact quotes but this is the point of it)
Shawn and Taker had great psychology and great ring work while also adding in a huge spot with the top of the cell and knocking HBK off the side of it. Hell the very second the match started with HBK being terrified basically asking HHH and Chyna for help was amazing. For me it was peak HBK when he was at the top of his game and honestly, peak HBK is absolutely untouchable. Undertaker at this time was also at his peak athletically and physically.
For me the HBK/Taker match just had it all in terms of storytelling, wrestling, memorable spots. There is a reason that it's rated a 5 star match.

Rock/Austin III at WM19. It was nice to see Rock finally get his big win over him.

I've always felt the HBK/Taker match was the better one. Sure, Mankind/Taker had the bigger bumps and more brutality with the thumbtacks, but as you said, the original was put together far better. The psychology was different. Taker finally getting his hands on HBK with no interference. Shawn doing everything, including throwing his body around, to keep the advantage on The Undertaker. Seizing the opportunity to escape the cage when help came for the camera man. Having a reason to climb the cage just to escape the Undertaker. They built to the big spots. Rather than just have them at the beginning.

Sgt slaughter vs iron sheik in the bootcamp match 1984. I was sitting 3rd row ringside for that and it was an amazing experience I won't forget. Maybe it wasn't the greatest match of all time, but for me the most memorable.
