You know they were going to give Meghan's first song to Carly Rae Jepsen? However, for it to work, they would have had to change the name of the song to "All Aboot That Bass".
(Because us Canadians apparently pronounce the word about as aboot. I don't hear it, but each time I say it, I pronounce it as aboot. And, no one even bats an eye. So, they must know what I'm talking aboot. [wink])
All kidding aside:
I think Meghan's very cute. Something about her drove me wild when I first saw the video for "All About That Bass".

Yeah, she’s one of those artists that you can’t say the name of, but yet you know the song(s) they’re known for very well. It’s a bit of that tradition where annoyingly catchy songs overtakes the singer’s name. |
