It will be interesting when we know a bit more on the take Reeves will explore. I'm hearing his "Detective" side will be explored more in depth. Then I see Slade Wilson will be in it. He's not the type one would expect for such a storyline. Maybe he's brought in by some group that needs a detective to find? The Court of Owls might fit the bill.

I am confident Reeves will deliver the goods! And I'll echo what some other folks have already said in this thread ...no need for a rushed production to get a 2020 release . A 2021 release would be perfect (preferably in the summer of 2021)

Would much rather a Flash or Green Lantern movie. Or even a new Superman movie.
I'd be interested if it had Riddler, Penguin or Mr Freeze. But it's rumored to be about Deathstroke.

I hope it comes out in 2020 and I hope Affleck is in it. Also since it is a detective story I would love to see The Riddler again.

I love Batman but part of me feels like they should wait a couple years before making another live action Batman movie. After the disaster of Batman v Superman and the box office failure of Justice League, I think the audience and the character need some breathing room. I rather see DC focus on making movies staring other DC characters.
I actually don’t think it would be a bad idea if they tried making an animated Batman theaterical film in the vein of Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse for the time being.

Nah, no need to rush. I got enough great Batfilms already. I'd like to invest in other characters now. I don’t see it as being rushed if it can potentially get a holiday release, but I don’t mind Reeves takes his sweet time to make the film absolutely perfect. |
