So you're a fishetarian. What smell? If you experienced smelly canned fish then it must have either gone off or not been filleted/included the skin, bones and organs etc, or it was canned in water as opposed to oil. Fish canned in oil shouldn't smell bad. You shouldn't let a bad experience stop you from eating good food. Try King Oscar's mackerel. I can't stress enough how good it is. I'm a Chocotarian. No. I haven't had chocolate since I got my wisdom tooth removed last year and have only just started eating bread again but I miss it and it sucked not being able to have a lot of the Christmas chocolates but seriously, I wouldn't say I am a fishetarian, if that is even a word and I mostly eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and occasionally have seafoods like the ones I mentioned above. I love prawns the most and I have cold prawns, garlic prawns with garlic sauce, prawn cutlets, prawn fritters, prawn bars, king prawn omelettes, prawn cocktails and honey prawns and we used to have prawn burgers here which I liked but they stopped selling them.
Widsom teeth removal really sucks and it does ruining your eating habits yeah. I got mine done very early. Chocotarian Don't worry Easter is coming. I don't care for prawns. I don't eat any weird seafood that come from ugly/creepy looking crustaceans or gooey creatures. No prawns, lobster, crab, octopus, oysters, calimari or any stuff like that. No offence. I don't think it's a coincidence that all the best seafood come from good looking fish. So I'm sticking to that. Have you tried King Oscar's mackerel yet? Also I just had Brunswick skinless & boneless sardines in olive oil too which were really good and I'd recommend also. So are you a "mostly vegetarian" due to moral reasons? Cos I'm actually considering becoming a "mostly fish and eggetarian". Specifically only wild caught fish and organic "actual free range" farm eggs. I'd still have the occasional meat probably though, like bacon and the occasional steak, for special occasions. At least until the day I (if ever) find myself living somewhere where I have access to humanely hunted game meat. I'm also hoping eventually to one day have my own pet chickens for the eggs, but only if I am ever rich enough (which is incredibly unlikely) to have my own farm with a huge field for the chickens to roam in. It's very hard for me to let go of meat. I grew up in a very meat centric family from a very meat centric ethnic background. I grew up on lots and lots of meat. I've been working on cutting down though, and is why I have been trying to mainly eat wild caught canned fish lately for my meat intake.

hey Caesar! where the hell do you live? King Oscar's Brisling sardines in xtra virgin olive oil are fileted, contain no head, bones or entrails and are simply delicious!!! I have had the mackerel, and it does not compare flavor wise. Incidentally, I love seafood as you can see by my posts here. Hmm. I've seen King Oscar's Brisling sardines in xtra virgin olive oil but saw no indication on the packaging that they are fileted. I'd try some but I wouldn't wanna risk it. Nevermind though, because I discovered Brunswick brand fileted ones in olive oil. Tried them today and they were great! Again only in olive oil though, so it's a shame it's not the extra virgin kind as apparently that's healthier but yeah. What do you mean they don't compare? I don't think they are too different tasting. Which do you prefer?

Recently, I tried canned tuna for the first time in many a year and couldn't stomach it. Tuna is overrated. Not sure why it's so popular to be honest. Very dry. Probably people are just going with what they know and are too afraid to branch out. Same reason why people listen to pop music, watch big bang theory, watch MCU/Disney Star Wars movies and play Fortnite and Battlegrounds. They're just going with the crowd. It's a shame.

Tuna mixes well. Goes well with other things. It's not particularly tasty by itself, IMO.
My favorite canned fish, aside from oysters, which aren't fish but are seafood, is sardines. So many brands to choose from. It's a great early evening snack or, if you prefer, light meal. I prefer it in oil. Healthy stuff, brain food, and a good source of protein.

What are some recommended brands of Tuna ?
Lately Chicken of the Sea and Bumble Bee look like Purina re-jects …. just mushy and shreds of fish … and they claim to be the "chunk tuna" Have switched to Salmon for noodles and fishy something cold salads.

Tuna, sardines, anchovies... Why no salmon, mackerel and herring? Do you eat full or boneless & skinless sardines?
Been thinking of trying anchovies. Don't recall ever having them. Are they similar to sardines?Boneless and skinless.
Yes, but saltier.

Getting my wisdom tooth removed did suck and I haven't been able to eat a lot of the things I love to eat and have been mostly sticking to soft foods and avoiding any hard foods like apples, biscuits, buns, chips, chocolate and hard lollies but I am slowly eating more things and it was worth it getting it removed 'cause my wisdom tooth was an absolute nightmare! I had never felt so much pain in my mouth before and it would keep me up some nights and I would finally go to sleep only to be woken up in pain. I didn't want to have a wisdom tooth removed 'cause my others came through fine but this one was pressing into another tooth and was coming through very slowly and the Dentist told me I had to get it removed and now I am pain free in the mouth. I have been careful with what I eat 'cause I heard it can really hurt if you get food stuck where the tooth used to be and you might even have to get it removed.
I never really liked meat that much when I ate it so it wasn't hard for me to give it up when I did and I stopped eating meat 'cause I don't like eating animals and I don't miss it but I could never be a vegan 'cause I love cheese, milk and chocolate and other dairy products and I am looking forward to eating lots of Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies on Easter and Easter is the one day of the year where I pig out and eat lots of chocolate. I can see why it would be hard for people like you to give up eating meat but there are a lot of other delicious foods out there to have instead.
