First album is great, second good, then they just sort of lost something...most of what I've heard from the last three albums is lackluster at best...

I've seen 'em live a few times, and they've always been pretty good, but they did use up all their decent material with the first album. Turn on the Bright Lights is an absolute classic, Antics has a couple of good tracks, and the rest is pretty mundane.

Is it at all weird i prefer antics? I have known other people say that, but they were wrong, too.

I love Interpol. When they broke through with the Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Scissor Sisters, the Rapture ... New York was rocking the globe again (like Detroit, Michigan around the same time). Seeing them live was ecstasy.

I really like their first album. Live they were pretty good too.

I dig them. Loved the first three albums, but their last couple have really grown on me over time.
