For instance, ALDI's "Clancy's" line of snack items (potato chips, corn chips, tortilla chips, etc., etc.) is, in my opinion, relatively high quality for a low-cost 'house brand', and significantly cheaper than most of the 'big name' snack company offerings. Anybody else got any others ??

[img title=" " src=" The Kroger-run stores up here around Seattle (Fred Meyer and QFC stores) have a line called "Simple Truth," offering many high-quality, lower-priced food items. It includes snacks and chips as well as various entrees, frozen, and canned items. Also, Kroger itself has a line with the Kroger name and label on it that is like the low-priced alternative brand.
