Liked that james also indirectly admitted mcu is dumb on content. he said this during DOFP too. mcu was indeed a clever idea to have a crossover but it got abused greatly.
this is the second person after mangold that doesn't believes xmen at best works on its own. tumbs up. we are just waiting now for mcu xmen to disgrace itself and kill the genre.

you missed the best part of the article when Mcvoy talks about nicely talks about how silly mcu is to the complex real world of xmen. its in depth and said eloquently.
“Maybe they could? But I think what’s different about the Avengers universe anyway is you’ve only got a couple of superheroes in the world,” the actor continued. “There’s a good amount, but there’s like a couple of football teams’ worth, you know what I mean? Whereas in the X-Men world you’re potentially saying there are hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of [superheroes] and the social implication of that is different.”
In the “X-Men” franchise, superheroes have their powers because of a mutated gene. The movie franchise has often depicted mutants having to hide and conceal their identities because the world views mutants as a lesser group. The Marvel Cinematic Universe features superheroes, such as Iron Man, who have gone public with their real identities and are revered by citizens within the universe.
“In the X-Men world, [superheroes] are ghetto-ized,” McAvoy said. “They’re ostracized and they’re feared. Whereas in the Avengers world, they’re honored a bit more… and seen as heroes. We’re seen almost like immigrants that people are scared of in the world of mutants and humans. How do you resolve that [in the MCU]?”
Once again, MCU fans you ignore the substance like your movies. No wonder the part you quoted is short. LMAO.

He's talking about there being a small amount of people with powers (MCU) vs a whole "race" of people with powers (XCU). The point of it is getting mutants into the MCU. Not which is better.
Also, don't respond to this because I won't read it since it will be something stupid.

That's not talking down about the MCU you fucking imbecile it's specifically referring to how do you introduce the globally persecuted sub species of powered individuals that have been around for generations into the MCU world where powered people are literally one in a million at this point and are not persecuted.
You know like how do you integrate Game Of Thrones into Breaking Bad because the worlds they exist in are completely different to one another, nothing to do with one is stupid or kiddy or any other mindless rubbish you like calling shit, simply how do you merge such tonally different products together, when they are so separate?
Clearly the greater Marvel universe includes X-Men as seen in comics and TV series, so it's not like these cannot co-exist but how do you introduce such a far reaching element into a already established series not established to easily allow for such an element to be introduced?
The fact you see this and automatically as him "kindly" talking down about the MCU just shows how biased and stupid you are you quibbling jellyfish of shit, the fact he thinks it's a well how do you do this type of situation but thinks they will figure it out isn't an insult or anything, it's like how a great chef can make a bang up meal with ingredients normal people would find useless is part of what makes them a great chef, they know food better than you do and know how to use each ingredient to it's fullest.
Now shut yah trap you steaming turd.

Did you just compare game of thrones to mcu? LMAO. Last I remembered the game of thrones creator slammed mcu movies once.
The question of people who are globally persecuted wait, remember black panther? a movie that should have shown that black people are persecuted and couldn't , it was as superficial as ever. that is the best mcu could do and look at the generic outcome.
Also you are wrong when you said marvel includes xmen in tv and series. no, they really didn't, not all the time. spiderman, xmen , daredevil, hulk and f4 and others , marvel cared more about a building mythologies of their separate series, the cinematic crossover nonsense got abused by disney because it made money. it had nothing to do comic story telling since crossovers were rare and treated more like a one time event than a basis day to day thing. rewatch xmen tas or xmen evolution? please how many times did spiderman or captain America future in those cartoons or are mentioned? same for spectacular spiderman? how many times was xmen or hulk mentioned? same for the iron man 90s cartoon? how many times did he meet dr strange?
Hm, funny you just threw insults at me. that is the best you can do? all it shows it just how idiotic mcu is. now all i have to do is sit down and relax and wait for mcu xmen to crash and burn worse than star wars.
you spend time insulting me, why not spend time researching more about marvel. if you are too slow. ask yourself why into the spiderverse is a superior movie to homecoming.

What truths or facts? truth is the greater marvel universe can and has been able to be implemented into multiple variations to varying extents in specific franchise focused series throughout time, they don't go beyond the occasional specific story because X-Men Evolution wasn't a Captain America show but they perfectly injected Cap into that universe without breaking anything as they did Nick Fury, Iron Man Armoured Adventures brought in Fury, Haweye, Widow, Panther & Hulk as well as X-Men it all existed in that shows universe but the show focused on Tony because it's an Iron Man show.
Also for the record I didn't compare MCU to GOT you ninny, I compared it to Breaking Bad, because introducing Breaking Bad into GOT would be easier to swallow the idea that theres an undiscovered land with more modern tech and features a Walter character to the fantastical world of GOT, introducing Dragons and White Walkers to Breaking Bad far more difficult, adding a handful of superheroes and SHIELD to the world of X-Men is far easier than introducing mutants now all of a sudden into the MCU to the scale the X-Men requires it.
Also how does any of my behaviour reflect bad on the MCU I am not associated with them in anyway other than being a fan of theirs but I'm also an X-Men fan, Spider-Man fan, DC fan and so on, I don't judge any of those film franchises by their studio, I mock the studios of those franchises for making bad films when they do but whilst I can mock and laugh my arse off at Fox for making Origins I praise them for Logan because I'm not a moron nor do I prejudge everything based on arbitrary bullshit, that is your job, as you proved in this topic when McAvoy basically says integrating these two properties within one pre-existing franchise will be tough, I don't know how you do that, but I am sure Marvel will figure it out and you took that as him belittling them, you utter tool.
And why revert to insults like I did, well because everything else I said as you have proven many times before with oh so many people on oh so many topics it's kind of nauseating, you cannot stick to of follow a simple discussion, I don't know how many times you brought up Black Panthers CGI in arguments that in no way related to Black Panther, CGI or anything else remotely similar, despite being told repeatedly what does this have to do with that or in my case why are you trying to argue with me that BP doesn't deserve praise when I have repeatedly said I think BP is overrated myself and not a great film, detailed discussions are beyond your comprehension despite your deluded ego making you believe you are the bastion of intellectual conversation, hence why you should suck a cock, lick a pussy or rim some random dogs shitter I don't care what you do just that you fuck off, because you in no way add to any conversation you one note dribbling simpleton.

Indirectly... right... the truth of mcvoy talking about how incompetent mcu is but thinks they will figured it out? mcvoy is too nice. you need a person like mangold to tell it as it is.mcvoy even used the theme gheto-ised. a big theme of early blacks and jews trying to settle in the usa after slavery and world war 2.
those kind of themes is not found in the mcu. that is what mcvoy was pointing out.dont worry, just wait for the new batman movie that will use gotham city and a theme to address such issues why mcu xmen disgraces itself by making the movie a joke with little plot.
