www.imdb.com/title/tt0055464/Something Wild - 7.5/10 What an original story, but also original directing. Was VERY surprised and wasn't expecting this for 1961. Anyone see this? I really love the personal movies, where you are really with a character.. If anyone knows any movies similar around this time (give or take 10-15 years)

I've seen it. The film's director Jack Garfein directed a movie called 'The Strange One' (1957). I saw this on late night tv as a kid and it stayed with me.
Not sure if I know anything similar to 'Something Wild', you could try 'Shock Corridor' (1963) and 'The Naked Kiss' (1964), two films directed by Samuel Fuller with a crime angle. There's also James Landis' low budget crime film 'The Sadist' (1963).

I liked "The Naked Kiss" and saw a bit of "Shock Corridor".. I also kinda liike "The Sadist" - but that guys' face was so ugly and silly! Thanks! |
