He's set to play a major role which some believe to be the villain Loxias Crown.

Is it another mirror-image villain?

Is it another mirror-image villain? Like Superman fighting Zod, Wonder Woman fighting Ares, or Aquaman fighting Ocean Master? I hope not.

I thought Morbious was a villain? Are they going to make him the hero/anti-hero whatever?

Is it another mirror-image villain? Like Superman fighting Zod, Wonder Woman fighting Ares, or Aquaman fighting Ocean Master? I hope not. I hate that. Three movies in the Iron Man series and in each one Stark fought a perfectly acceptable terrorist type villain (Ten Rings, Vanko, Mandarin) all who turn out to be backed by a mirror image CEO (Stane, Hammer, Killian).

Three movies in the Iron Man series and in each one Stark fought a perfectly acceptable terrorist type villain (Ten Rings, Vanko, Mandarin) all who turn out to be backed by a mirror image CEO (Stane, Hammer, Killian). It's kind of a thing with superheroes, in comics and movies. I think the movies do it to make the villain more relatable to the hero from the perspective of the audience. Cap fought Red Skull (who was a failed attempt at a super soldier) then Winter Soldier (a brainwashed super soldier who was his best friend). Hulk fought Abomination, Ant-Man fought Yellow Jacket; the X-Men just fight other evil mutants-- Wolverine alone has fought Sabretooth, Mystique who took his form, Lady Deathstrike, and a literal clone of himself. Maybe writers think the best way to show a superhero succeed is to show him as better at what he does specifically than the other guy? I don't know. It's easy to go over the top with Batman villains because the hero himself is so bland that anyone with a personality provides an incredible character dynamic. (And that's not a shot at Batman, he's one of my favorite characters of all time. That's just a character trait. He's the no nonsense, obsessed detective archetype.)

It sucks because Smith was my first choice to play either Brainaic or Kang the Conqueror.
