Seems the obvious choice. Left field being First Man. Christoper Robin did a bang up job but it may not be as extensive enough to warrant it.

First Man did a very good job also. Could take it.

Infinity War or First Man. Wouldn't really matter to me which one takes it, both are deserving.

None of them deserves it. If they are really the best, then it was an awfully bad year. Aquaman impressed me more.

I suspect the last minutes of First Man will take it. It's the most 'prestigious' film in the running which could be enough in a tight race.

I hope first man but it wont. You may just be right. An interesting piece of trivia: No movie has won visual effects with only ONE nomination since 1993, and First Man is the only movie in this category with more than one nomination.

It was a great night for Marvel at the 17th annual Visual Effects Society Awards on Tuesday night. The comic book publisher’s wares led the film fields, with “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” nabbing four wins apiece.

Happy for First Man, especially since it was my favorite movie of the year and didn't receive a Best Picture nomination.

I said Christopher Robin. I knew it'd be a random choice (unless the VFX are groundbreaking like Avatar or something, they often go to small left field choices like Ex Machina) but I bet on the wrong one.
