So I rewatched John Campea’s video it seems that have been production disasters that had occurred. At first I thought he was implying that the test screening was horrible but then he says “this could be the opinion of a couple of people”. Keyword: couple.
I wonder what happened.

I don't believe a word of it. The film was delayed because the studio thought it wouldn't be competitive in the current superhero film landscape. They decided to augment it, and now everyone thinks that means it's a disaster. It will more than likely be a decent film --- no better or significantly worse than any of the others in the franchise. It will be an X-Men film - a joyless slog with melodrama and speeches to spare. I think this disaster narrative is meant to lower expectations so that when it does come out, and it's "okay," people can play it up as being better than it is because it wasn't a "disaster."

I remember Jeremy Conrad mentioning a big sequence was ruined so badly that they had to it all over again and that was the cause of the second delay.

I remember Jeremy Conrad mentioning a big sequence was ruined so badly that they had to it all over again and that was the cause of the second delay. I recall that as well. If the sequence was well designed in the first place that’s more of a setback rather than a disaster. Studios build in a little extra in the budget for accidents. If the sequence sucked to begin with and, the studio felt it needed to be re-designed as well, that’s a different story.
