Not only are "bad calls" normal, and part of the game, turns out this wasn't even a "bad call" to begin with.
The 'aints also committed two penalties on the same play:

I don't know if it's definitive that the ball was tipped, but the guy makes a great point: Giving coaches the ability to challenge no calls would really open up a can of worms better left alone. I'm assuming the replay official would then have to review the play in its entirety looking for uncalled penalties that could've gone against either team; is that a road we really want to go down?
I hate bad calls as much (probably more than) the next guy, but there's a limit as to how much you can legislate a game before it becomes ridiculous. At the end of the day the Saints still had a chance to win that game, but they blew it.

Agreed, i have tried to stay out of the debate, only because i don't want to piss off Saints fans here on the board. But, the bottom line is, had they marched down the field and scored in OT ( as the Pats did ) none of this would matter.

Someone on the Saints a week ago said "he said it was tipped." Really surprised the league didn't use that as a defense all week.
Then again, it was blatant helmet-to-helmet.

The 'aints also committed two penalties on the same play: So this wasn't a bad call after all and the only bad call last Sunday was the phantom Roughing the Passer penalty against the Chiefs that gave the Pats a free 15 yards and an automatic 1st down.

But flags aren't thrown for tipped passes. It could just be that the refs saw the tipped pass so they didn't bother to throw a flag for PI.

Oh ny God, not a first down on a second down play with 7 minutes left on a game the chiefs were winning that ended up going into overtime! What a travesty!

It could just be that the refs saw the tipped pass so they didn't bother to throw a flag for PI. You have to do the touching of the fingers with a tipped ball. The referees never made that motion. And nobody has refuted what Sean Payton said after the game about the refs saying they fucked up the call.

It was an uncatchble pass. No pi even if it wasn’t tipped.

Looked easily on the same path to me. It was totally on the same path. Dude pushed the receiver away, fell straight backwards and made the catch on his arse.
