All of them but the first one blow. What did you think of the 2018 film? Not awful, but still not comparable.
The first just has so many true innovations of the genre. I think its fair to say that the "slasher" sub genre starts with Halloween.

"Halloween III - Season of The Witch"Michael Myers isn't even in That Movie! The mistake with this one, was the III in the title. It should have just been Halloween: Season Of The Witch. The III made it appear like a direct carry on from II and deceived many who didn't do their homework based on the advertising, or didn't click it was an entirely different entry altogether. Apart from that, as a stand alone film HIII is a decent all hallows eve film. Agreed. It's actually underrated. I rank it right in the middle of the pack of the franchise.

Halloween: Resurrection by far. When we re-watch the 'Halloween' movies we watch 1-H20 and always skip 'Resurrection' 'cause of how bad it was. From what I have read the movie was originally supposed to be more of a direct sequel to 'H20' with Josh Hartnett returning as Laurie's son but the actor wanted too much money to return so the sequel to 'H20' was scrapped and we got 'Resurrection' in its place which was a shame 'cause I liked 'H20' and would have enjoyed a proper sequel to it.
