I think he should either just wake up (since BvS pretty much tells us that he's not dead), or Batman should ask Lex if it can be done (considering what Lex knows about Kryptonians via the scout ship). If it's the latter, then Batman will agree to get Lex out of Arkham in exchange for the information.

This has potential to be different from what looks like a safe bet ( reviving from his self induced healing coma or Lex/Darkseid induced revival) - The resurrection may be related to the coming events in MOS2. That film is rumored to have a story arc based on Krypton. May be ancient Kryptonians will have the required tech to bring him back.

i just want him to comeback from the codex, no darkseid control/evil superman. Hell, I forgot about that. It's a convenient enough excuse. I'd be cool with it.

I'm just curious what the floating dirt at the end of BvS meant...
I am willing to "accept" that it was Snyder going...ummmmm...we need to hint he's coming back...make the dirt float, that'll do it.
But if it has an actual purpose, it would seem like it's a power radiating off of him. Perhaps some sort of regenerative power kicking in. The Codex seems the best answer.
But I don't see a world where Zach Snyder doesn't turn Superman evil for at least a few minutes. He won't be able to help himself.

But I don't see a world where Zach Snyder doesn't turn Superman evil for at least a few minutes. He won't be able to help himself. The floating dirt meant he was hovering in his casket (unconsciously, obviously). If you remember from MoS, Kryptonians are able to fly by manipulating the gravitational field surrounding them. That's why Zod's glove floated around him when he first learned and why the pebbles hovered around Superman's hand when he first took off. So it was literally just Snyder telling us that he's not dead. He's probably in a coma.

I'm fine with the codex. I just wish the moment would be very impactful

I am thinking that he will just, y'know... wake up, and I'm not sure they'll go into much detail about it just yet, but I wouldn't mind if the codex is brought up as an explanation at some point. But a part of me thinks that, perhaps, not even Clark is gonna exactly know the reason he returns.

A guy in an Ayn Rand shirt named Mack Ryder is pissing on his grave when all of a sudden Superman bursts from the Earth creating a shockwave of destruction. In his dying breaths, Mack Ryder says "He died... and was... resurrected....like....Jesus....in case...you didn't...get it..."
