These are the ones mentioned, or ones that brought omitted ones to mind. I don't know why, but it brought to mind ULZANA'S RAID and RIDE THE WHIRLWIND, which I know have their fans.
So, since the final thread of winners will only fit 50, and I said 14 from the other threads, in order to satisfy those who wanted late nominees, I'll limit the other lists to 12 winners in each one to become finalists, and take the top 14 from "your nominations" from this list.

I know this is going to piss you off, but you still left out The Wild Bunch, which was pointed out as an omission in your previous poll.

The PROBLEM (imo) is not so much with the omissions as with the Non _Westerns the OP insists on including MOST OBVIOUSLY NON WESTERN THE GRAPES OF WRATH BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK ^^^ what is he thinking ? and then there's THE MASK OF ZORRO THE GREY FOX THE ALAMO THE YEARLING PANCHO VILLA (2003) LONELY ARE THE BRAVE (and some others here and on the previous selections) none of them really "westerns" actually am surprised that The Last Picture Show Hud Giant are not included … after all, they also take place in Texas.

movielover It all started with The Last of the Mohicans and several Civil War films in the first "polls" and it has just escalated. Polls are interesting only if they are at least accurate and /or make some sense. OP might have had more success if he had asked for suggestions and then compiled the lists to then POLL and worked it down to the final few. OldAle used to run great POLLS in the Olden Days of V-1... they were fun (until some disgruntled yahoo sabotaged the results .. but that's another sad sad story ! .

The John Wayne Stagecoach is leading the way so far.
My preference has always been to the Stagecoach that was inundated with big stars, including Red Buttons, Bing Crosby, and Robert Cummings in supporting roles. It was more "fun".
The John Wayne Stagecoach was probably better in a classical sense, while the Alex Cord one was more theatrical.

I'll keep an eye on this. Whenever the votes are such that the top 14 are at least two votes ahead of number 15, I declare this OFFICIALLY ready for the semi finals.
Same for the others. Top 12 for each of them.
In case of a snag, if within a month, there is no change, then perhaps I won't take 14 from here, but whichever are the biggest vote getters.
