IMO boring, cliched action, bland colour grading, generic score and sketchy CGI. Camerawork is pretty decent though.

The old cars look cool. Her punch makes WWE look real. But shes so strong and independent didnt you get the memo. Also one has to wonder why does she use her energy beams at the most stupid time, just before the train is going into the tunnel. The destroyed rubble can cause serious damage to others nearby. Why not use the energy beams earlier when she has a clear shot with no obstruction.

Better than any DC movie. Dont think so. The Batman Begins train sequence is better than this. So was the SPD2 train fight. And so was The Wolverine bullet train fight. This honestly looks like childs play

‘I’ll just leave this here’ would be appropriate only if she was posting from the toilet.

It looks alright but this
"cliched action, bland colour grading, generic score and sketchy CGI"
Isn't wrong. The MCU have been called out for diluting their colours before. Not sure why they do it.

I agree with this as well. I mean, this is REALLY becoming annoying for me. I cannot stand this low contrast, low saturation color timing. Marvel has been using it since Winter Soldier and it's really starting to get old. This clip looks ugly AF. I was just watching The Avengers the other day and the colors are bright and vivid. Why can't they return to that style? I will honestly stop watching the MCU if they don't change this soon.

Guardians of the Galaxy and Aquaman had popout colours and they were really nice to look at visually.
Not sure why they'd dilute the colours with so many of these others. It makes it look so dull.

Whenever the MCU do their casting auditions for potential superhero roles, I wonder if they ever ask the actors to perform simple fight scenes. I feel like this is something they should be doing, at least for roles that engage in a good amount of melee.
First they got a Danny Rand who looked completely ridiculous when throwing kicks, and now I see this clip and cringe at how awkward Brie looks throwing a punch.

Yeah the lighting and color is ugly and bland. The lighting and coloring certainly doesn't help make her suit look less bland. I'm hoping there will be some final CGI touches added to make the suit look more decent.

The color grading in Aquaman was superb. I wish Marvel would take notes. No one wants this dull low contrast look in their comic book movies. I keep hoping they fix this but they never do.

They need to go back to embracing the wondrousnessness of the comics!

So did a bunch of others like AoU, IW, GotG, Dr. Strange, etc. I didn't mind the saturation as much in TWS but it started to become a bit painful in CW and the Antman movies. This movie seems to be the most extreme... and I'm hoping I'm wrong. The only explanation I can come up with is that maybe they're going for a more retro feel?

Phase One was shot on film which makes a world of difference. I have to say though: I personally thought Doctor Strange was the worst. It does have a vibrant color pallete but none of the colors pop because the image is so low contrast that the image appears all washed out. When I watch it at home I boost the contrast levels on my tv to the max.

Does anyone know what kind of camera's and films Marvel Studios uses? Yes! They use digital cameras. There are two main brands, whose names I forget (I think one is called Alexa Red or something) but Marvel uses both depending on the movie. They used film in phase one which is why those movies look better. Digital movies can look good but they need proper color grading. Digital movies are shot with a completely flat image and require a good colorist to make them work. Marvel clearly has some bad digital colorists.

It reminded me of how Fellowship of the Ring had some scenes that had a ugly and grainy looking shots. The one that always comes to mind was the Mine of Moria and how it looked like someone turned up the brightness or the contrast.
I've always wondered if this was done on purpose or if it was a technical mistake or glitch, but it is definitely distracting whenever I rewatch it.
